Why it's different
Everyone else forgets who "you" are. We don't.
Private by default
Your strips are yours.
- No public gallery. Nobody browses your strips, and nothing you make is indexed.
- We never store your voice. A spoken entry is turned into text, and the text is what we keep.
- Delete anything. One strip, or your whole account, whenever you like.
- Real people, handled with care. Partners, kids and friends are drawn from your words only, and some things are never drawn.
Why we're building this
Every year, one of us starts a new notebook, with a nice pen and every intention of writing in it each evening. Every year it gets a few lines on a few pages, and then nothing. Reading them back is the strange part: “Long day, but worth it.” Worth what? Nobody remembers.
We wanted something that asks for thirty seconds and hands back a page you’ll still understand a year later: your day as a comic, starring you. And it’s the same drawn you every time, so a year of strips reads like one story about you.

Isn’t this just another AI comic-diary app?
A few apps already turn a journal entry into a comic panel. What none of them treat as the whole premise is character consistency: the same illustrated “you” showing up strip after strip. That’s the entire bet Stripkin is built on, not a bolt-on feature.
Why not just ask ChatGPT for a comic?
You can, once. Ask again tomorrow and you’ll meet a different person. Stripkin draws every panel from one portrait of you that stays put, so Tuesday’s you is Monday’s you, and your strips build a private archive instead of a chat history.
What if the character doesn’t look like me?
You’ll see your portrait before your first strip, and you can redraw it up to three times. After that, every panel is drawn from that one portrait. We’re still testing how well it holds over weeks, and we’ll say so plainly when we know.
What about the real people in my day?
Partners, kids and friends are drawn from what you write about them, and stay private with the rest of your strips. Some things are never drawn, whoever asks.
How much will it cost?
